Orchidarium and Bromelarium

The Orchids and bromeliads are two of the most popular, exquisite and fascinating flowers in the world. Both, orchids and bromeliads flowers are especially prolific in the tropics, where the majority of the species grow on the trunks and branches of trees.

In order to conserve and study the indigenous orchids and bromeliads including the endangered ones, Botanical Park Los Yapas houses plenty of beautiful species of orchids and bromeliads.

Collected in a small area of the park are hundreds of native wild species of exotic orchids and bromeliads in their natural habitat, which can be easily viewed.
